Me, My Camper Van and Cadiz

Here I am again, and this time I am here because I want to share my experience in Cádiz with my little and pretty campervan. This was some weeks ago and I decided to have some free time with my girlfriend and we thought Cadiz was the perfect place to save some money and see amazing places but by our own. No hotels, no hostals, just beaches, sun and ancient towns in this city.

But let´s just star from the beginning, do you know where can I hire a camper van in Cadiz? If you are not from Spain, you probably will ask for it... There are some good companies here, in the same Cádiz, and they all speak english, so do not worry. For example the one we travelled with was caracolvan. Take a look at one of their campervans:

Looks nice, huh?

The inside it´s just so pretty, so if you travel with you girlfriend is going to love it.

We decided to get a camper because it´s the better way to explore as much as everyone can. You dont actually depend on the hotel or public transport, either your own car (wich is kinda worry if you come from UK for example).

But let´s just go for it and talk about what we saw and you can see in Cadiz.
First at all... Did you know Cadiz is the oldest city in Europe? Amazing. So you will se the oldest houses and built places in all Europe, which is amazing. Here I leave you guys a Lonelyplanet plage were you can see the top things you can do in Cadiz. And also I leave you a Wiki Cadiz, for more info about the city and all the stuff I just said.

I said before we got a camper van, right? well before we did it, we went to probably the best hotel in Cadíz, "Parador de Cádiz". It´s quite expensive, but the food and the views... No words, just take a simple look at this:

What a sunset from the top of the hotel, superb!

I am coming back here for sure. The pool is also incredible, it has amazing views from it, and you can see the ocean and some nature cool things... Those rocks you see up ther in the pictures are what they call "La Caleta", which is that zone...

Take a look at this picture where you will see them better:

This is a fucking paradise, I´m sorry for my words, but they had to be said haha

And I am actually showing you one thing you can do in the main city, without a campervan. Image what will you see in other places, no turists places where you can get with your camper.

I was actually goint to tell you them, but won´t. Why? Because I do not want to discover all the secrets Cadiz has. I will tell you where to go:

Vejer de la Frontera: The white city:

Chiclana: City with the best beach in Spain (officially said in 2014). That beach is "La Barrosa":

And... You will have to discover the rest of the places with your campervan, cause Cadiz deserves more than a few days to know it good.

As always, I am sorry for my english, I try to write as good as I can, without Google Translator haha And any question please let me know down bellow in the comments:

You can get to Sintra From Lisbon with a train in just 30 minutes, and the visit is necesary. You will see amazing views and castles and fantastics places like the next I will show you bellow:

See what a beautiful views! Amazing!

I have to say, I recorded myself walking on some dangerous rocks in a waterfall, like a videogame. Tha experience was so much fun. I leave here the video of that little experience:

hahahaha I have to say that in the beginning was a little bit strange and I was quite scared, but I did it. The next trip will be in a camper van around the little towns in Cadíz, wich is in the south of Spain. Will you join me? :P

Faro in Portugal

Have you ever wanted to go to the south of Portugal? You probably heard about "The Algarve" zone, which is almost all the south os the country, and it´s actually really famous for it party and beaches.

It´s true there you can find nice places, cities, and beaches, but not in all the cities. One of those is Faro, the main city of that zone. I actually went there 1 month ago and I just got back very disappointed. What a boring and ugly city, oh my god. So, if you are planning to go there and what it´s even worst, stay there more than a night, just don´t please.

Why you should not visit Faro?

Faro is a really small city (at least the old part, the new do not go there) which just have some old walls, and a small seaport. You don't believe me? Well here I will leave some pictures I have taken there:

Look beautiful, right? Well these pictures where not even in Faro, was a nice little town nerby called Olhao, which is more beautiful and has more things to do. So, my advice is simple, do not stay in Faro if you can avoid it.
