Best Camping in Spain

Well, here we are. In this article, not too long, but well summarized, I will comment on my experience with campsites in Spain.

And it is that, it is very different according to the area of Spain to which you go on vacation. Also, of course, the quality and price of the campsite. But that is another issue apart.

3 Things to keep in mind

Where?

The south of Spain is better than the north: time is of the essence. In the north of Spain it is usually rainy, windy and unstable. While the south of Spain, with cities such as Malaga, Huelva or Cádiz, is ideal to enjoy almost any month of the year.

When?

Spring or summer. Winter is more complicated, especially because they do not usually open the campsites. If you can choose, better spring, since the heat is not so intense.

Which?

Here are my 3 best campsites in Spain: Camping Tula in Conil, Camping Playa Ayamonte in Málaga, and Camping Giralda Isla Cristina in Huelva.

Surf Trip in Spain? Good option? Atlantic Surf Trip

The province of Cadiz is relatively small and you will not need to go over many kilometers to surf in each place. Although the most recommend area is between Roche and Barbate.

Another important route is the French one. This one cross surf spots in France and some mythical spot in the north of Spain as Hendaya, Biarritz, Anglet, Hossegor…In this route one can visit the famous Mundaka, that will not disspoint anyone. 

One of the most amazing and long route if the Full Atlantic Surf one. This cross the peninsula from north to south entering in Portugal territory. Almost 2.000 kilometers to enjoy the cost and mythical surf peaks.

If you really like the northern Spain (San Sebastian), there is a perfect route for you; the Northern Route. It goes from Euskadi to Galicia, crossing some mythical surf spots like Mundaka, Rodiles, Salinas, Doniños… This route also offers unique locations and an excellent gastronomy.

There is also another route, placed in Cadiz province. This one is especially unique because offers you the possibility to enjoy beaches of the Cadiz cost in a classic 1970’ Volkswagen Campervan T2. This will have everything you need to enjoy some of the most beautiful beaches in Andalusia. In this places you will find amazing lights and landscapes to take photos. Some of the most beautiful villages are not so far so you can enjoy them too.

Cortadura Beach in Cadiz

If you are looking for a relaxing, amazing and cultural place to visit, and at the same time a place with incredible beaches and not very crowded, I´ve got here your perfect option: Cortadura Beach in Cadiz.
